Amelie Aquino

Amelie came to SJF Law Group with a curiosity for the unknown, and she’s been pleasantly surprised ever since.

Currently pursuing her degree in Accounting, Amelie was inspired by the successful careers of her grandmother and father, both of whom built their professional lives on a strong foundation in accounting. That same family-driven work ethic is what led her to embrace an unexpected opportunity in the legal field.

Before joining our team, Amelie had never imagined herself working in law, but she quickly discovered that estate planning is a far cry from the courtroom drama most people picture. One of her biggest surprises? Learning that estate planning involves no litigation at all, just thoughtful, purposeful planning that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

During her internship, Amelie has taken on meaningful responsibilities, including preparing client binders and consult folders, and lending a hand to our paralegals wherever needed. One of her standout moments has been participating in our community shred event, where she loved connecting with local residents while giving back.

Her advice to fellow students? “Take any opportunity that comes your way because you never know what’s out there or who you can meet.”

After graduation, Amelie plans to pursue her master’s degree and sit for the CPA exam, and we have no doubt she’ll bring that same openness and dedication to every step of the journey.
